My hero was never put on this type of pedestal, and it's actually starting to improve again. It can't be overrated because no one is rating it that high right now. It fell off.
Demon slayer had a period where people were calling it an undisputed GOAT. But when the dust settled it just became a solid show.
Demon slayer is better than JJK tho, so I won't call it as overrated because it actually pulls weight

With that being said Todo is a top 10 character in all of anime

JJK is STYLISH and has hype fight scenes. The explanations of the world and techniques are SUBPAR. The characters designs are interesting, but the personalities are rehashes. Season 2 had like 10 episodes in a row of STRAIGHT KILLER NO FILLER. Entertaining but not a GOAT anime. The story isn’t on AOT, HxH, or FMAB level , but those are literally some of the best shows in the entire medium. For what it is it’s cool. Kinda in the same pot as MHA n DS. And people like Baki so you really don’t need much other than fights….
