The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg has weighed in on a five-year-old video of Justin Bieber using of the “n-word,” claiming that the singer’s gaffe can be explained by his “youthful ignorance” — and the fact that he’s Canadian.

People should continue to express anger over this incident because it reinforces an already bad precedent. The fact that the likes of Eminem and John Mayer get passes makes people think that it's okay to say whatever they like and black people will ultimately forgive and forget.
