Whoopi Goldberg says Justin Bieber’s racial slur ‘doesn’t mean anything in Canada’

The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg has weighed in on a five-year-old video of Justin Bieber using of the “n-word,” claiming that the singer’s gaffe can be explained by his “youthful ignorance” — and the fact that he’s Canadian.

“You know, Canadian words — I’m going to say the word so get ready to beat me,” Goldberg said on The View on Monday. “N—-r doesn’t mean anything in Canada.”
