A nikka be having all the confidence in the world until that screen flip :to:
I've had the opposite problem: I'll think I look like shyt but the screen says different. :upsetfavre:

But about 6-8 years ago, this was me. :francis: I thought I'd look good in the mirror but store windows said different, train windows said different, surveillance cameras said different, Facebook photos said different. :mjcry:

Mirrors > front cameras
Facts. Trying to figure out how to replicate what is in the mirror requires fukking scientific know-how.

Wake up with my face looking sexy as fukk:takedat:Chest looking right and abs poppin:letyasoulglow:

Take the picture:francis:Now I look 10lbs heavier, I have titties, and a beer gut with faint abdominal lines:mjcry:

You've gotta remember that your eye lenses are three dimensional and more advanced that a camera lens. A camera takes a 3D image and flattens it into a 2D image - that's why people always look heavier in photos.

In any case, mirrors lie. :heh:

Yea I know, I do photography as a hobby and had to learn so much about focal lengths and lighting to understand the "why" and "how" of that kinda stuff.

It just made me realize that what I see in the mirror, if inverted, is what people actually see, so I am that damn good looking. But when I try to capture the moment:francis:

But like you said, what you see in the mirror is a reverse image so you can never know, I guess. :francis:

:whoa:Nah nah nah, its kinda what they see. Like I said "Invert" rather than reverse for a reason. The mirror almost feels like flipping an image and sucking it inside
out. Its weirdly "same, but different." What you see is just a flipped image of what others will see, so the only real difference becomes if you present yourself differently
than how you act when you are in front of a mirror. Cameras are better at kinda telling it "how it is" if you froze in place in the middle of a conversation, but its just so much
less flattering overall. However, when people talmbout "Girl, you fine:leon:" but you never see it, its partially perception, and mostly due to your mirror image always
being "you" in reverse, so in a portrait you can look vastly different, and even revolting to yourself.

:shaq2:Im sorry, im a nerd for this shyt. Ignore me.
