I hope you know most cameras have crappy quality and do not project how we really look like. Mirrors are said to be more accurate in what we actually look like.

There is a scientific reason behind this. I can't remember it all but it has to do with always looking at the mirror our mind gets use to what we see, and therefore find it more attractive.
When you look at the camera its slightly different from the mirror so it looks foreign to us(what we usually see). Basically the jist is the mirror lies.
