How the fukk did they know San Antonio was guaranteed a top 4 selection by pick 8?
How they know Dallas the team with the lowest chance at getting the top pick, they knew it was a top 4 early as well.
If the spots are chosen lottery style then none of that is possible so whatever invisible lottery method they do have?
You'd think we'd see it but we don't.

There was a statistical probability of 0.4% for the the top 4 to end as it did.
Now was the rig decided when the trade was made? Or did Dallas losing and the subsequent death threats/etc lead to the league coming up with a "solution"
I believe it was the former, feel free to believe whatever you want but provide a reason instead of crying because others think differently about it

There are only 4 balls (pause) actually selected in the lottery process... Then the rest of the 10 teams are automatically placed in ascending order from their finishing record. So for example, if the 13th (one of the play-in teams) team doesn't receive the 13th pick we immediately know that they'll be in the top 4
