Well, these people who are on death row aren't convicted of shoplifting, if that's what you are insinuating.

And innocent people who are executed and in prison are what collateral damage?

I don't think the state should be in the business of killing people.
I see that you and tmonster are both anti-death penalty people.
The arguments for and against the death penalty are pretty much the same so I really don't care to rehash that out. I'm not going to change your mind and you aren't going to change my mind.
