Damn time flies. Season 2 was 2014???

I completely forgot about this show but i liked it a lot when it was airing. I guess it never got picked up for a season 3, i'd heard it would be a long shot so perhaps ratings weren't that great for it

The same way I was hoping for John Boyega to crossover mainstream in the US when i saw attack the block in 2011, and the same way i was hoping for Daniel Kaluuya to crossover mainstream in the US when i saw Black Mirror season 1 in 2011, I've been waiting on the homie Nathan Stewart-Jarret to make that leap since seeing Misfits in '10/'11, to complete the cypher lol. Going into Utopia, i was hoping it could be that last stepping stone.

Thinking back, 2011 was the year i discovered British television lmao, watched all of that shyt + Luther + anything else with black british actors. Couldn't understand a damn thing they were saying half the time with those accents tho

Utopia is one of the most diverse shows I have ever seen. The US remake scares me on the low for being trash

I don't know about Amazon. I got Amazon Prime but I don't know how hit or miss their series are, quality-wise.

I will give the remake a shot but the original is GOAT level. Season 2 wasn't as good as season 1 and it's still better than most shyt on TV. I hope the Amazon version does well so we can get the story past season 2....it being cancelled on a cliff-hanger was some fukk shyt.

Quality content for the most part. Nothing truly transcendent like what Netflix gives us but Miss Maisel, Catastrophe, Bosch, Fleabag are all great
