Much love and respect to UW for giving the fans exactly what they wanted.

These dudes know how to put on an event.

They got more things right than wrong.

Yes we can critique every little thing but when it comes down to it. They got 80% of this event RIGHT!

The mics were basically amazing!!


Cameras I mean we already knew they were next level so no need to go in on that.


I love the different segments they brought to the event.

The live carpet would have worked better with notable battle affiliates. Great idea but the execution was just



The 24/7 intros playing in between battles was dope. I know smack kinda started that but UW
executed it way better. Just because the battles basically started right after like they should.

The hosting has to get better
Love the adjustment by ars not only did he not embarrass jack. He actually held him down saying don't mind him he's drunk. He just casually just took over the hosting . That was very professional


The crowd wasn't bad some think they were boring. I don't care I wanna hear the battle so if they were dead. better for me at home to hear.

As a fan of the battle culture I was very please and happy I supported.

I believe UW has thrown the gauntlet down and the fans aren't going to accept anything less.

Look how impatient we got when lux was taking to come out. Anywhere else this isn't even bad.


to UW thanks for raising the bar now everyone else has to follow.

They would have been A1 if not for jack thriller. He was TERRIBLE. I was relieved every time Arsonal took the mic from that nikka. Arsonal standing there straight coaching this nikka on how to host

from what im hearing ustream take 50% of what you earn in ppv

then im hearing 2000 people didnt actually show up to the event.

who knows if they made a profit

but uw needed to do this, they league was fading quickly. even if they broke even it was needed to be done by them so keep they league afloat. smack was still smack and kotd was quickly picking up steam. well not after this weekend, but overall.

got to remember kotd didnt want to take a shot on this battle either.

and if you dont have lux, vs hollow, does the ppv do any numbers?

uw had to do it tho, smack and kotd didnt

and you also got to remember eminem putting a co sign on it opened up a ton for them, im sure sponsors rushed when they heard em was behind it.

I thought they did a great job considering all that needed to be done. I was actually surprised. Take away the almost hour delay to start Hollow/Lux and it went pretty damn smooth. Don't think they exceeded 10 minutes between the other battles, which was great.

The video quality, speed (had next to no lag) was top notch. Constant mic alterations was one area that needed work.

The hosting DEFINITELY needs improving though. Not sure why they chose Jack Thriller, and why any host should be allowed to drink throughout the event - keep that part professional atleast. Dude multiple times was actually talking on the mic DURING BARS! Hell, Arsonal did a better job than him.

and for me it makes it harder to determine whether or not lux really did choke at the end of his 2nd and played it off by tellin hollow to rap, claiming he stopped his round cuz he was thinking about the time restraint (even tho nobody told him to stop)

UW definitely got it right. They weren't going to to get it perfect because this is the first time something of this magnitude happened but they did it as well as they could have.

If it was up to me, I wouldn't allow entourages on the stage since it makes the transitions quicker and the audio engineers needed to be better. They shouldn't have needed to be prompted to get the levels right on a battle to battle basis.

I don't think Tarsi really fits in. Should give that opportunity to a female battler rapper. Obvious answer being Jaz

Curious to see what kind of talent they are gonna use in the future. Arsonal is more open minded & battles anywhere. He has more of an appreciation for all types of battle rap. I personally hope they keep it street though.
