A 750k deal is how much the deal is worth. That includes album budget, clothing budget, marketing budget, advance.... Blah blah blah
It's not a check for 750k plus a deal. It's just a nice way to make publicity and headlines. It could be 50k advance and 700k spent on recording, production, marketing and promotion

If you read the above comments. And every comment in every other thread like this....
You see people THINK a deal's worth is equal to the advance money. So maybe ask why people haven't understood its not the same thing by now

Advance money just means money you're going to need to recoup before seeing royalties, it's essentially the record label's appraisal of what you're capable of doing

No it's not. An advance is a check they give you when you sign. That you will have to pay back. So my deal could be 750k and they only advance me 100k. But I still gotta pay back all 750k to see royalties. Y'all need to study up. And that's why you always see the same post. Cause obviously y'all don't understand musical contracts
Others believe a 750k deal means the artist gets 750k up front. PLUS an album budget. PLUS a marketing budget.
750k deal is all that included. So no she is not advanced 750 to pay back.

You can get a signing bonus that unrecoupable. You can set a number lower than your advance. Or whole budget.
They can give me a mil and say I gotta recoup 500k. Cause I'm some huge star before signing. Or give me 1 mil free but I gotta recoup 90 percent of my shipped cds.
So all this. Who gave her 750k is irrelevant cause nobody did. That was my point
