What is Vado's "level"? What standout quality does he have?
Hes a better lyrcist, metaphors are way crazier, went bar for bar with Camron on his last good run for like 5-6 projects, dave is cool but he aint vado, no hate and i see daves potential and all but i feel like people comparing them two don't know about vado for real

Vado is somewhat "lyrical" but he doesn't say anything memorable, nor does he say anything in a really memorable way. He seems like a cool dude, and is a decent 90's NYC style rapper. He's just not that exciting, and that's why his career hasn't taken off yet.
I'm not saying Dave East is better, I just wouldn't put Vado on any type of pedestal.

Its all opinionated when it comes to things being "memorable" but yeah im not putting him on a pedastal but when people are comparing the two we just gotta make it clear theres a difference. Yeah and hes obviously not the complete package and hasnt blown up for a reason, Khaled should have plans for him

???? Just listened to his new tracks and he's pretty much the same as he ever was. He picks cool beats, has a good flow, but he isn't a compelling listen. He's above average but unspectacular as a rapper. He seems like a likable dude, but he doesn't have the it factor to stand out enough.

Everyone who came out of the Most Hated camp has that early 2000's NYC Kay Slay mixtape genericness to them. Thankfully for Vado, he's not insufferably arrogant like Jae Millz is.
