No one ever really talks about this part in hip hop.
Main Source's "looking at the front door" and Geto Boys "Mind playing tricks on me" are early versions of Hip Hop talking about relationships for real - they were clearly more advanced. The lessons are there but rappers still want to blow money on hookers.
