You wish it was scripted that way.

What's gonna get the biggest headlines.

LeBron finally getting one for Cleveland like he promised or the Warriors repeating with one of the best seasons in NBA history?

I think the Warriors story line is played out since they've been so dominate all year.

LeBron has Space Jam 2 coming out...This wave is made to make money and headlines...

just peep it all breh...

So folks want to hand out awards based off hypotheticals. Where do you draw the line? I mean the Kings could be the Sixers without Cousins and a borderline playoff team in games that he plays. Should that qualify him if we're just going strictly by the standard of how a team would do without a certain player.

Also for anybody saying dumb shyt like Warriors would still be a top team without Steph needs to give up watching sports. It's much easier to when a few games without a top player but one of GS's biggest strengths is depth. Right now everybody is in a perfect spot. The constant wear and tear of all their players carrying a much bigger load would take it's toll over the course of the season not to mention probably increased injuries from players having to play more and carry a higher minutes burden. Klay can already be inconsistent but it goes under the radar due to being the number 2. Plus his defense would drop and Draymond's likely too having to take on more of an offensive roll.

A team won 73 games and their best player had one of the overall best statistical seasons ever and we are really questioning his value. Ridiculous.

Yeah, we can stop playing stupid here. ..in a vacuum, sure having some conversation as to the abstract nature of the true meaning behind the mvp award is valid...in years previous, mainly during Steve nashs 2 sham mvp years, we've all had the same discussion

But that lebron decides now to all of a sudden start parsing words and questioning the validity of what the award means...in a year where there had been the least debate as to who is most deserving of it or how it most accurately reflects who the best player in the game was, ever ...is for no other reason than because he's jealous, salty that curry is getting props and accolades he believes should go to him

Which is fine, he's a all time great player...I'd honestly think less of him if he just smiled and grinned while steph snatched the crown as the top dog in the league from him while bron is still in his prime...still thinking you're the best is part of being a competitor. ..and ultimately all he has to do is show and prove and beat steph and the warriors in the finals to prove it to the world...but we gotta stop this "oh Lebron is just harmlessly and benignly pontificating here, why y'all trying to make more of it :troll:" bullshyt

He's going to regret this in the Finals when Steph is doing Steph things and the Cavs are getting that ass whipped in the process.
If Curry things means having to pull away from 5th seed Blazers with 2 minutes left, there won't be much Cavs whipping happening...

He's right though

when Lebron was with the Cavs they finished with 61wins 21 losses

After he left the following season the Cavs finished with 19 wins 63 losses

do you truly believe if Curry left GSW they would not be able to win 20 games?
They blew up the team.. of course they would lose. When Jordan was gone they got kukoc. Cleveland didn't replace Lebron.

They still had everyone but LeBron, Shaq, and big Z I think. Mo www still there, sideshow bob was still there, Jamison was still there. 3 of their top 5 players were still on the roster :manny:
