Yea Steam is a service for PC gaming like PSN and Xbox Live for consoles . Gamepass is more like a netflix subscription service for xbox games.

Yea thats true I wasn't thinking about the onliine pay being a subscription service on consoles but you can still buy games to own even without the subscription I meant it more as a comparison as a store vs being a netflix type service where you don't buy the games but have access as long as you have the subscription.
