Tried to find the vid with just Rachel Maddow speaking and not the white guy, but youtube is trash af.. (They even removed the timestamped share feature.)

But here’s the vid, she starts 9 seconds in and it is worth the entire watch. He barely says anything anyway:

Bottom Line Up Front: Media is exposing Vances connection to German billionaires that got him in the Senate (which some of the smart people here already knew), and eventually led this nobody all the way to VP.

But whats not heavily known is that Vance was asked where he got his ideologies from, and Vance named a guy called Curtis Yarvin:

Curtis Guy Yarvin (born 1973), also known by the pen name Mencius Moldbug, is an American blogger. He is known, along with philosopher Nick Land, for founding the anti-egalitarian and anti-democratic philosophical movement known as the Dark Enlightenment or neo-reactionary movement (NRx).

Everything we see now is what Yarvin said needed to happen in the vid. Literally the exact play

By February 2022, Thiel was one of the largest donors to Republican candidates in the 2022 election campaign with more than $20.4 million in contributions. He supported 16 senatorial and congressional candidates, several of whom were proponents of the falsehood that there was significant voter fraud in the 2020 election. Two of said senatorial candidates (Blake Masters and JD Vance) were also tech investors who had previously worked for Thiel.

damn, JD living that puppet life

I put that battery in his back
I'm the reason why he move like that
That's my muh'fukkin toy soldier - 50

Later in the recording, Yarvin said that after a hypothetical authoritarian president was inaugurated in January, “you can’t continue to have a Harvard or a New York Times past since perhaps the start of April”. Later expanding on the idea with “the idea that you’re going to be a Caesar and take power and operate with someone else’s Department of Reality in operation is just manifestly absurd.”

“Machiavelli could tell you right away that that’s a stupid idea,” Yarvin added.

While he has not yet assumed power, Trump has moved against media outlets, commencing lawsuits against some including the Des Moines Register, CBS and ABC, with the latter settling a $15m suit that legal experts believed to be winnable for the broadcaster.

Vice-president-elect JD Vance, meanwhile, and others in the broader Maga orbit like Christopher Rufo have identified universities as primary ideological enemies, with Rufo helping to remake New College of Florida in the image of Christian nationalism.

In 2022, Vance told Vanity Fair: “I tend to think that we should seize the institutions of the left and turn them against the left. We need like a de-Baathification program, a de-woke-ification program.”

The Guardian reported in August that Vance said in a podcast recording: “There is no way for a conservative to accomplish our vision of society unless we’re willing to strike at the heart of the beast. That’s the universities.”

I was just looking at a podcast about him this afternoon :

He’s someone that thinks he smarter than what he actually is. Spews total nonsense but somehow manages to draw in tech elites like Thiel. He’s an edge lord that shouldn’t be taken serious.

He was on NYT podcast and was embarrassingly uninformed imo. He literally tried to make an argument that black people were better under slavery. It's like an edgelord high schooler doing debate work

For those who don’t want to sit through the vid, basically the dude Vance and his backers meat ride believes the only way to “fix” the government is through a dictatorship..

He is pro-dictatorship, anti-democracy, and says the first step to dictatorship is to get government personnel to resign or quit their government positions, attacking universities, etc…

Dumbass and incorrect ideas and strategies.. but they are in play right now.

And since Elon (whose father was apparently a Nazi Sympathizer in Canada and moved to SA because of Apartheid or something) used this same tactic with Twitter, it must work to them.
