yeah he's cool, VERY punchline heavy, Banks/Pappoose/06 mistape type punchline MC

Some of the joints I heard actually were more concept/content records, I haven't heard much though. Maybe around 5 songs. He was on a project called The Collective Alliance I checked, that had some good shyt.

his solo album came out in 07 and i haven't checked for him since then, he probably has other stuff out that i haven't heard. there's still lots of crews and collectives out here where a bunch of rappers & groups will collab regularly & have a loose crew but never actually drop an album. much like the Hit Squad.

Yeah I see what your saying. I really like the international side of Hip Hop, it's good for the culture, I have some people who live in Aus, Perth to be exact, about 10 ish years ago they told me Hip Hop wasn't really that big there, has it changed? I'd hope so.

as far as mainstream exposure it's come a long way in the last 10 years. Hilltop Hoods The Calling album was the one that broke through. specifically the Nosebleed Section.

they are basically the Run DMC of Aussie Hip Hop. not the first rappers or the best rappers but they were the ones that broke through and brought local Hip Hop to the mainstream. since then lots of others have blown up, some are corny and wack hippy type shyt but some are dope.

I would compare our scene to the mid 90s in US, a few mainstream acts, a few pioneers still around and a lot of dope music coming out on the whole. The sound is mostly still in the boom bap stage with our own flava put on it but there are done cats like Kerser who are pushing the boundaries as far as beats go. Lots of hippy dippy daisy age mod sun type shyt like 360 and Pez.
