What he did was great and he has the talent to do something new and original.
He has mad talent and has played dozens of characters. It's not like he peaked and has no more contributions to comedy or acting anymore and they need to just reach in the old bag and bring something out.
If this fails (and it will, not because of viewers but because sitcoms are hard to make stick in 2025) it's going to pretty much be the nail in his coffin.
