at the end of the movie Goku admitted Vegeta finally surpassed him even in SSJ3 form

Bills found out about the SSJ God, went to confront him, but it had already worn off. Bills sent frieza to keep tabs on the saiyans just incase another one emerged, but frieza just thought it was another civilization to conquer.

Remember that scene where bills was using Vegetas dad almost like a slave, why would a GOD want anything to do with a lowly saiyan.

This is also why vegeta was able to hurt Bills. Just like the movie says, only a god can compete/hurt a god. SSJ God runs in vegetas veins. Toriyama even said he wanted Vegeta to be the protaganist in the next movie.

That's a lot of heart right there...

Vegeta took his own life to save his friends. There's a difference between "risking" your life and "taking" your life. Everyone goes into situations like that, hoping that they can get out of it alive which is still admirable. Vegeta went into a situation and made a "choice" to take his life if need be to defeat a muthafukka. Both are sacrifices, but Vegeta's resolve was unmatched. Only Goku's will can fukk with that.
