I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
Warner Bros said they can't use the dog if they are making an adult animated show

Which is funny because its okay to parody scooby doo in adult cartoons owned by them but not okay to use scooby doo in such a manner
:what: The hell? They let Kevin Smith get away with it in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Meh. Need to see more but so far, i'm not impressed.
I will say, Velma's hallucinations are very on par with dealing with anxiety and depression from her mom's disappearance. Probably one of the few things I like :ehh:

I just watched the first episode. It's not good. It was better than I expected but that doesn't mean it was any good. Only a couple of characters made me laugh a little - Fred and Velma's Dad's girlfriend and they were meant to be unlikeable. In fact, I actually kinda liked Fred, at least he did some funny stuff. Velma is an unlikeable, nasty snob. Norville and Daphne are bland. Way too much meta jokes about Scooby Doo, teenage high school dramas, mystery shows... I get it, it's not funny.
In short, No Scooby Doo, Most jokes don't land, palette swapping characters in an attempt to make it 'diverse' and 'inclusive'.

I watched both episodes and It's weird. It's like I see the jokes and what they're going for, like if somebody was retelling a comedians funny joke but leaving out parts and forgetting the punchline.

I saw the IGN review and they hit on the BIGGEST problem imo. This is not Velma. It's not even really an adult edgy Velma, it's a new character who's a loser and and borrows from Daria, she likes to reference other shows. Fred ain't Fred and Velma aren't the characters we've known. No call backs to many of their quirks and they'd be easy to make like Velma dropping her glasses or Fred and Dapheny splitting up together etc.

The year 3030
that synopsis is ass...that can literally be any "adult" cartoon or cartoon in general.

Why the fukk did they insert the Scooby Doo IP? Other than the fact they know that if it was an animated Mindy kaling, it'd bomb even more.

trailer doesn't do it any favors...this is definition of try hard
