Plenty of bad series come out all the time. Some of them remakes of other properties. The only reason this is getting special attention is because a non-white person is the driving force behind it and some races were modified on the show.

Is that especially egregious? We all know if all these characters were white and the show was still bad it would have had a moment and people would have already moved on. Literally the only reason people care so deeply is because these characters races were changed. Is their races being changed what makes this show so bad? No.

As you certainly surmised from clips and trailers…The Mick was a generic fox sitcom, and AP Bio was a generic NBC sitcom. They’re exactly what you think they were. I thought The Mick had more potential because the cast was better, though the premise of AP Bio was better.

Seems like Kaitlin Olsen's typecast ever since she started playing Dee. Even when she reprised her role as Cheryl's sister on Curb they just sent her character's life in a tailspin so they could rewrite her to act like Dee

The Mick was pretty good but Fox has never seen a promising show that they didn't want to cancel. She got an Emmy nom for Hacks though.

What they should have done. Was to make a rated R animated special. Where the Scooby gang, meets the Scream cast. And make it take place during Scream 1. Let the Scooby gang stay in character. And try to solve the mystery of. Who’s the Ghostface killer. And have everybody return to voice their characters. So Matthew Lillard can voice both Shaggy, and Stu. Call it “Scream!!! Scooby Doo”.

Scoob came out. It was poorly received and people moved on fairly quickly. Hell I didn't even hear that much about it. I wonder why this could be getting such a reaction in comparison if Scooby Doo is a franchise that can't be allowed to have poor releases. There is something different about this show but it's hard to place a finger on what that is...

Scoob was boycotted by fans. Because they replaced the original voice actors, with celebrities. Also people were mad because they made Velma Mexican.
