Post it. I guess the same saboteurs were firing rounds at their power plant since 2013 as well. I guess the president of the Venezuelan association of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering is exaggerating the failing power grid.

Fam, why does that sounds so out of the possibility? I am sure you are aware of American Diplomacy in South America......everything and anything is possible.

I'm not at all dismissing covert actions by our intelligence agencies and government. The theory that the country is experiencing frequent random blackouts and imposing 30-day power rations because of foreign threats to the power grid would be much more believable if the capacity of an aging power grid had of been addressed before the strong push against Maduro.

His excuse lines up with the rest of his rationale of why the country is in the shape it is in. Yes, the sanctions play a major part of why the Venezuelan economy is where it is but that does not explain him taking it out on his citizens.

It never happened this frequently i.e days after days even after maintenance.
Later that day, at 21:47, the Guri electrical plant suffered a grave arson attack which affected three autotransformers and most of the essential transmission cables. In an official communique released on Monday night, the government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela declared that “an event of this type has never occured in the history of the Venezuelan Electrical System, and it shows the lack of limits of these terrorists protected by the warmongerers that are part of the military, financial and media network of the supremacists that exercise power in the United States of America and aspire to hegemonize the global geopolitical power”.
Power restored slowly in Venezuela after yet another round of attacks on electrical system : Peoples Dispatch

And sabotage like this haven't been the first time.

Anyways the coup has FAILED. All you American imperialist crybabies can go back in yall holes.

Again, I'm still surprised Guaido has not been arrested. Best thing he should do is take refugee in Colombia or any other surrounding Latin American country.

Now. When the HELL did I call myself a damn revolutionary? No, what you crybabies don't grasp is I understand WHAT USA imperialism looks like based on how its been targeting my father's country.

Second, what "revolt?" The majority of the Venezuelan people don't even want a revolt outside of the right wing blanco elite. Which is why this "coup" was nothing more then a small number of low level soldiers. Some who may have even been tricked according to @Birnin Zana source. And I doubt your ass even cares about the Venezuelan people or Latin America in general. lol.

There was arson and the article ends with the arrest of multiple home grown terrorist. I can concede to all of that but that does not explain why the grid is and has long before March of this year has been producing at a fraction of its capacity.

Even if we accept outside sabotage theory, the lack of maintenance and attention to the power grid is amplifying the attacks. Clear signs of neglect.

I didn't know disagreeing with a dictators rule or the treatment of his people made me an imperialist :lolbron:.

Clearly the Venezuelan people are beyond unhappy with Maduro and I'm certain they would like their previous democratic society back, I don't believe that calls for an American invasion but "real" support of the opposition is far from imperialism. I have already addressed the Mickey Mouse ideals of the Trump administration so I'm not even sure why he is being brought up. And I guess your everyday life being turned upside down where there are food and water sourcing problems, frequent electrical blackouts, frequent protest and shows of civil unrest don't equate to hell for people who are just living in a world where they have no say in the geopolitical moves that are made.
