Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro has introduced a new food card that critics decry as a Cuban-style rationing policy that will not alleviate the country’s economic problems, Reuters reports.

Maduro has touted the “Secure Food Supply” card as a measure that will combat hoarding and reselling by Venezuelans. Some shoppers buy heavily subsidized food products and then resell them on the black market or over the border in Colombia for large profits

In the spring of 1942, the Food Rationing Program was set into motion. Rationing would deeply affect the American way of life for most. The federal government needed to control supply and demand. Rationing was introduced to avoid public anger with shortages and not to allow only the wealthy to purchase commodities.

As long as we're clear that you admit there was clear sabotage of democratic socialism policies by Capitalists, you can have any victory you wish.

It's like taking the statement 2 x 5 > 8 = TRUE and misleadingly changing it to 2 + 5 > 8 = TRUE and saying "Hey look! Math doesn't work!!"

I was in the airport today and saw a travel warning against Venezuela saying that they don't secure their air-travel up to USA standards.
