I can speak from the experience of my country and the truth is that the choice that worked was to find a way to treat the cancer ourselves. Pinochet was put in power by he U.S and his dictatorship was horrible for 80-90% of the population (the rest still sees his regime as a net positive not matter how many lives were taken). Mfer lasted 17 years in power but was ousted democratically and Chile was able to advance to better kind of problems as a nation -that we still have today mind you, but it sure beats civil war and vacuums of powers- and avoided the fate of a failed nation.

Maduro had to go, but a worldwide power arbitrary deciding to interfere, do it by themselves and self proclaimed itself as the new ruler of the nation is not the type of move I'm ever going to celebrate or see as a net positive.

That country is fukked regardless, it was going to be shytty with Maduro and whoever he chose as his successor and it will more than likely be shytty with the internal fukkery that ensue in the coming years.

Not sure what you mean by being willing to see what happens next. We are all gonna see what happens next regardless of our willingness :pachaha:

I won't knock your experience since it's firsthand. But I'm not changing my opinion :manny:

Trump is like a real-world Maegor Targaryen. If his evil, corrupt self can remove someone who's been a thorn in our ass for a decade, I'm not gonna criticize.

Biden should have done it already, he didn't just want the negative blowback. So let Trump be a useful idiot.

Don't you ever get tired of your self-righteous, holier-than-thou bullshyt.

We have two doors to go through.....TWO.....and you're acting like there's a secret third entrance somewhere.

Either you want Maduro running Venezuela for an indeterminate amount of time or you want his ass out.

We all went to college. Save your lectures.

:dahell: Pointing out that the U.S. is destabilizing Venezuela and much of Latin America is acting “Holier than thou”?

Immigration wouldn’t be a problem today if the U.S. hadn’t been destabilizing Central America in the 70s and 80s.

Trump is breaking international law and disregarding US constitution to start a war with a powerless country so he can steal their oil and you are complaining about me.

fukk is wrong with you nikkas?

Don't you ever get tired of viewing everything from the lens of "I'm a Republican so im saying this" or "I'm a Democrat so im saying that" :russell:

Maduro has had ten years....three different U.S. Presidential terms....to step his goofy azz down. Fukk that guy.

Sanctions & Accusations (2015): Obama declared Venezuela a "national security threat," authorizing asset freezes and travel bans for officials involved in human rights violations or corruption, prompting Maduro to accuse the U.S. of imperialist plots and expel U.S. diplomats.

In 2018, tensions between Trump and Maduro escalated as Trump repeatedly suggested a military option to oust the Venezuelan leader, stunning officials, while Maduro's government rejected talks, calling Trump's threats "extreme". This followed earlier U.S. pressure, including a $50 million bounty on Maduro's head in August 2018, linking him to narco-terrorism charges and setting the stage for future, more drastic U.S. actions against his government

In January 2025, the Biden administration increased the reward for information leading to the arrest or conviction of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro from $15 million to $25 million.

This is just neo con babble

You said this and provided nothing to explain how " maduro has been a thorn in our ass" as you say. All you did was neolib babble on how the united states government should overthrow countries whose leaders we do not like.

This is Higher Learning. You are an adult. You should know that Venezuela is a failed country that has not had a real election in 4,000 days, that Maduro has not worked with several Presidents to step down, that they have sent millions of migrants to the US to overwhelm a lot of our cities, and that they have become an enemy state in recent years. You should know that.

I am not your teacher, nikka. Read the fukking news :russell:

This is "Keep Maduro in Power" babble :russell: That's why you're "holier than thou". The current options are to leave Maduro in power or to take him out, and you're over here giving history lessons like that's relevant in any way :russell:

I don’t have any beef with Maduro. The people of Venezuela should decide what to do with him. The only reason the U.S. cares is because if the oil in Venezuela which can now be stolen and given to US multinationals.

So unless you are getting a cut, you sound like stupid right now talking about we had to take Maduro out.

But then again, you got offended at the fact that I provided historical context so I’m guessing you are not that bright or you think might makes right.

Brooklyn
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is deeply alarmed by U.S. military action in Venezuela that sets "a dangerous precedent," his spokesperson said on Saturday ahead of a likely U.N. Security Council meeting.

Imagine defending a third-world dictator that 85% of Venezuelans hate :dead:

That nikka would put a quarter-sized hole in your forehead for protesting, and you're caping :russ:

You @Loose and @Robbie3000 can stop quoting me. I said what I said. I'm not changing my opinion. I hope he gets a small cell too :umad:
