One of the coolest displays of true sportsmanship happened when my stepson was ten. Our city goes to s state track meet. One of our kids in the group has an asthma attack. A little white kid competitor walks over and says," here's my inhaler, he can keep it, i have another one".
I started school during segregation, but i went to the' white school ', no problems. Then comes high school. I had an excellent music teacher, but he was on that bs! He kept a quota for our competition choir. So many Black students quit because of his bs . He died recently and I was still holding that anger. He was a grown man playing games with children. That's the reasoning behind my statement
