I feel like the way you vote is a stronger indicator of your IQ than anything else.
there are people who don't vote and think that will contribute to change, i won't call them stupid, they just don't bother to do research and figure out whether or not an unproven strategy is actually effective. More laziness than lack of IQ. i feel like they will eventually figure it out if it harms them consistently enough.
And then there are people who vote against their own interests despite overwhelming evidence telling them its against their interests, and somehow they convinced themselves it is in their interests. They are extremely low IQ imo. They are harming themselves and asking for more, and then complaining about it.
