I, like most of the general audience, wants to see the hijinks of venom and Eddie not incredible superhuman action set pieces never before captured on film

no it was Dr.Strange's spell in no way home
during no way home when the villains enter the MCU you find out that venom was transported to the MCU too but instead of going to spider-man he gets drunk at a bar
there's an after credit scene in no way home that finishes that side of the story
