I agree but it’s not surprising they been famous way more then not surrounded by mostly cacs/non blacks admiring and kissing their azz…Essentially they been shielded or sheltered from seeing cism/racial dynamics the same way us common folks do…Not only just from the fame but being hyper focused and locked in as elite athletes…I’m sure pops gave them talks as youngins but after a certain point im sure he had to exclusively be protective and minimize distractions from the prize..
It's funny you brought up their father because that's why I'm surprised
I saw him give interviews about the racism he faced, and you do have to admit that both of them is what makes it stand out, if it was just one of the William's sisters I doubt we would be talking about it
Good for her. I pray my daughters find true love with black men. If not, I will support them regardless.
Welcome to the family Chad. You fukk my daughter over, I will destroy you.
The revisionist history around black men and the Williams sisters is fukking crazy. I personally don’t care about who they ended up with. It’s their lives, but black men/people in general were 100% behind them their entire career. The few black people that bad mouthed them. Doesn’t hold a candle to the amount of non black people shyting on them. Who they ended up with doesn’t have anything to do with black men. They chose who they wanted…
Serena was always into brehs but I never saw Venus date a breh.
Serena went after entertainment/athlete Black men but married a white businessman. If she went for a Black business/tech/medicine, it might have worked out.
Anyone find it strange that her husband looks very similar to Serena’s husband? And it’s just not a skin color thing. Dude looks like Serena’s husband in the face, builds look pretty similar as well
