If you have a grandfather account then you no longer have a contract anyway. It'd be hard to call it illegal. I could be wrong though.

tbh im starting to see this. i left att (on good terms) for verizon but trust ive been weighing my options

esp since MS apparently loves them the most

My company has an unlimited data grandfathered AT&T plan (they pay my cell bill). I eat hard off it. I hate that they would throttle you after 5 gigs but at least they moved it up to 22 gigs (supposedly) before throttling now
