You speak truth here. The Dips were a movement back when everybody was saying they were a movement. Matter fact I think they were the first ones saying it. Difference is tho I think the Lox been a part of more timeless records whereas the Dips were more a moment in time. The Lox gotta Bad Boy AND Ruff Ryders bag and that don’t even include the solos and post Ruff Ryders features. I don’t think the Dips got one song the Lox can’t counter with

That's why i'm saying it all depends on what tracks each group uses because either one can win if one doesn't select the proper 20. Dipset's sound was timeless. Every nikka wanted them beats at the time they was out.

Nah that shyt wasn’t timeless outside of a handful of songs. That chipmunk Heatmakerz sound especially got played out. They gonna have to rely heavy on Cam. Oh Boy, Down and Out, Hey Ma, Welcome to NYC. Don’t get me wrong they got a ton of heat but I just think the Lox got more timeless shyt

Personally I think Shottas has more of a chance then oh yes. You hatin on oh yes but that shyt going to be sounding hard in the garden.
I think the only Juelz song that could win a round is Santana’s Town. His other big hits like Oh Yes or the Whistle Song gonna sound terrible up against some hardcore Lox shyt

If Lox is playing hardcore shyt best believe dipset is matching with hard shyt. If Lox starts playing tracks for the ladies then Juelz could use some of these.

The problem with the Dips tho is that their more hardcore shyt is their lesser known shyt. One thing I’ve noticed about these is that energy goes a long way. I can’t see anybody from the Dips matching the Lox energy except for Jim Jones
