Lox better but LOX didn't put out as much music as dipset. Also, dipset is lowest common denominator music and they the majority. White supremacy welcomed the anarchy they brought and was put in position to spew ignorance.

The lox was about that but when listening to their lyrical content they really on some black empowerment shyt and that's why they don't get pushed. Styles P puts in more work than your favorite rappers favorite rapper (I brought it back)

Oh you was impressed with dipset repeating nursery rhymes (aye) well let me preview what you're gonna hear from them.

The flim flamer, the timbs tanner
the rim standard
the trim planner, find ourselves some hoes then we blim blam her (aye)

It was fun nonsense music, but none of their shyt really gets played anymore. I get it, things have changed but I don't consider most of dipsets music as "timeless". The production on shyt like "I really mean it" is all that really sticks out :yeshrug:

I was mainly referring to Lox not putting out as much music as DipSet.
Which I think is crazy considering Juelz was inactive for years. Cam took years off and Jim was halfway in the shyt.
Even at their peaks, Lox/Dblock always put out mixtapes or was on features

The Lox got hits...

We Love Big Poppa
Locked Up
High
All about the Benjamins
Money Power Respect
We Gone Make It
WW3
Honey
Wild Out
I Ain’t Never Scared Remix
Knock Yourself Out

those are just the ones I can think of.

What hit songs do Dipset have besides these?

Hey Ma
Ballin
Oh Boy
Run It
Certified Gangstaz

I need a Dipset and Lox fan to fill me on on the ones I’m missing.

I fukks with the lox hard, even bought sheek louch album and liked it. I keep a Jada album in the stash. Styles P been holding it down since and still.

But this a group battle, and the lox don't have many group albums, then it was d block which never really took off. I'm such a fan but I don't think I can name 2 lox albums off top. I'd have to Google it and then go "oh yeah"

Dipset I never "loved" but they was more commercially successful, they made more headlines (usually bad) but it stands out as memorable. A wack song to me is an anthem to some. So off that logic dipset has a real shot. But it's lox all day imo

DipSet don't have many group albums either.
And the 2nd one heavily featured the new members, JR, 40 Cal, etc. and them niccas for sure not gone be there...

Im not expecting them to play that many group album cuts anyway

Then have some early ruff ryders stuff

Interesting thing is will cam use the Junior Mafia stuff he wrote. That would be ILL.
