To be honest, I think Cam at his peak can match Kiss, but the issue is, Kiss is infinitely more consistent lyrically. Cam can put up a 50 point game and then have 5 straight games of 10 points. Whereas with Kiss he can score 50, but even on an off night he still giving you 25-30. He legit has never had a bad verse in his career. Cam has a lot.
I don't disagree. I actually think Cam's style and charisma made him become underrated as an emcee. I still think Jada is a notch better even when Cam is at his peak. After last night I think the only weakness with Jadakiss is just his lack of a classic album. But honestly it doesn't even seem to matter that much anymore. Like you said, he'd had so many 50 point nights for so many years that I can't be mad if he never won a ring.
The difference in bad verses from Cam compared to Jada is kind of what I mean. Jada's just not ever gonna give you a trash verse.
I would've liked to have seen what Cam's performance would've been like last night if he'd actually prepared for it and taken it seriously.
Jada was on some inspirational shyt for older heads. He looked healthy. His memory was sharp. He had crazy breath control. He was able to pick up the slack if Sheek or Styles forgot a bar here or there. And just in general he commanded the entire audience for the whole show.
I know I'm getting off topic.
