We need another event at Madison Square Garden

That is a Versuz battle between Mariah and Mary J Blige hip hop collaborations. I think Mariah has the most rap features of any singer, and Mary is up there with all her remixes also. Both are New Yorkers also and literally are both around the same age as hip hop, both grew up with it. Genuinely like it.

Doing something like this could also be a huge event bringing in a big rap crowd again just like this did. The Lox, Bone Thugs, Busta, French Montana, Nas, Hov , Snoop, Cam, Da Brat, Lil Kim, Eve, Fabolous , Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Ja Rule, Common, Ghostface etc

The Lox took this and Verzuz are not supposed to be battles. They're supposed to be friendly - somehow this turned into a skill set battle.

My question is this - why did The Lix win if they all clearly drink alot of alcohol and smoke alot of weed in recent videos?

We now see how weed and alcohol is affecting both rappers and friends after 40 - aging poorly.

Now Lox performed incredibly.

Dipset also smoke alot - but Jim stays in the Gym (Pun intended).

So is it that Lox know how to handle their substances? They practice/memorize more?

Is it that Dipset has this pompous ego?

Side note....I never liked Dipset for years after they dropped but grew to love them.

Now watching how simple their rhymes are compared to Lox - it clearly shows worked lyrics vs simple raps.

Lox been touring and stayed with each other, never beefing. They already well rehearsed even if they didn't rehearse this shyt, its natural to them. Also Jada and Styles are on their health vibe heavy, I seen them doing crazy calisthenics and drinking all types of health juice. So they drink and smoke still but they keeping the balance well. Then I think the last piece of the puzzle was that Dipset have that Harlem energy where they too relaxed and trynna be cocky, thinking their presence alone is enough, I dont think they knew that LOX was gonna bring that real battle energy, they should have done their research and watched Jada vs Fab.

More veterans need to battle each other like this, I mean real battles like what we just witnessed. Even tho Dipset got washed its not like im gonna stop listening to their music. Its like when Action got checked by Ghost, I didnt listen to Action for months but I still fukk with his music heavy.

IMO legendary artists aint got nothing to lose in these situations really, just dont come unprepared.

Man The Lox tore this to shreds. I'd be lying if I ever said I thought it would be this one sided. Dipset were terrible performers outside of Cam and clearly weren't built for this format.

You can tell that The Lox came up as battle rappers in Yonkers and performing alongside the greats.

to them for holding it down. Would love to see this give them another wind to make some classic music. I haven't been impressed by a Lox album since "We Are The Streets".
