The names I mentioned itself show that what you said ain’t true. They’ve done interviews with the rappers she worked with and they all said she was real cool so why wouldn’t it work?

I voted dipset despite being a big Lox fan (I wasn’t into the dipset movement). Y’all going overboard, on music alone, shyt could’ve went either way. shyt was way more than 200. In fact the shyt was lopsided for Dipset.

I had Dipset originally when this was announced because group record vs group record, Dipset has the landslide. Then if they would have done Jim’s idea of 5 dip/lox records and then everyone does 5 solo records it would have gotten dark for the Lox on paper. But after thinking on it a few days i had the lox winning cause of what Jada did to Fab and just the sheer amount of classic records the lox were huge parts of. I didn’t think it would be a landslide tho. And after like 3 records into the Verzuz i felt like an idiot for not anticipating Cam being too cool for school. And more importantly, not factoring group chemistry. Dip Set was literally running into each other during their performances. It was cringe as fukk.

G Unit would be better performers and it would make for a better Verzuz, but they would have the same chemistry issues Dipset had. G-Unit also doesn’t have the records Dipset has either.

Being the best rapper has never been the case for these. It’s about the records. Cam has some damn heat solo. But as we saw - performance, the order on which you play the tracks, your DJ and sound - so many dip records wasn’t hitting cuz their sound wasn’t right...all swayed this. And again, this shyt was a whole new format, shyt was a damn rap battle, only VZ with this level of competitive energy was Gucci and Jeezy and that was more personal beef, not mic competition
