If you're doing a LOX vs. Dipset Verzuz and you're not familiar with the deep cuts, you shouldn't be there. This is like the E-40 /Too $hort Verzuz where if you fukked with them, you're gonna know the joints they play. Dipset has strength in numbers and their mixtape songs were WAYYY more memorable than the mixtape joints D-Block was putting out outside of Jadakiss.

I could see that, but like anything super poppin, there's always be a lot of people familiar with the names and the hype, but only know the super commercial stuff.

Also, I wouldn't go that far bro, them Lox mixtape freestyles are LEGENDARY. I don't know if the Dipset mixtape joints are bigger than them Lox freestyles from 1996-2004 bro. Lox ran the mixtape circuit along with the Dips and G-Unit

Do I really think either side is gonna pull out the freestyles where they were shyttin on State Property and Hov and Nas and shyt? Probably not. Now yes, they can dig into their freestyles (which will turn this shyt into a 5 hour trip down memory lane cuz both of them got them), but Cam ain't gonna play You Gotta Love It or that Hate Me Now Freestyle. Some of the more memorable ones they're past that now.


Dipset had bangers on them mixtapes ( a lot of that wound up on DI 1 and 2, and I'm not sleeping on the Back Like Cooked Crack series and all them Jim Jones tapes). They're cheating if Jim uses the Byrd Gang stuff though. That always felt like a separate thing. They can get away with Purple City, but nothing with Max or Stack
