I never realized how many Lox lyrics I know word for word until watching last night. They probably have been underrated by me. I gotta put them in the Mobb Deep, OutKast category as far as my personal influence. That was my era!

I felt the same way. I’m 31 and I picked dipset just because I remember the impact, but I knew most of kiss and styles lyrics. It kinda caught me off guard but I was hyped rapping along them. It really was a good verzuz, dips just missed some big songs and Juelz looked crazy

Meth got all the Wu joints, classic features, and a few hits.

Plus they are two of the greatest performers in hip hop history.

Even though all these dudes are probably around the same age it shows the difference in eras.

Lox came up in the 90’s when it was about skills and rocking the crowd.

2000’s on been about more style then substance.

Dips was too cool for school and tried to act like they didn’t care. Then when Lox got under their skin they woke up a little but it sounded forced them trying to put tons of energy into their performance.

Crowd came in pro dipset too. They erupted when they were announced
