Honeymooners on wpix everyday in the 80’s to mid 90’s

I really want to know when can got booed. I didnt peep it.

the problem is jada is a slightly better lyricist than cam. And style is right there. Dipset cant compete with that.

plus they just had a bad performance.
it was at the very end when I Really Mean It was supposed to come on and Cam cut it, to try to talk and freestyle

Exactly. At a time when every MC within a hip hop crew was to have bars.

Dip Set was loved by outta towners more than by New Yorkers and represent New York fell off rap but they were still relevant. Look at the design of their crew. It's all swag rap. They can't spit.

You mentioned the about the era’s and it’s so true.

Dips probably used to performing at concerts at their peak and the crowd chanting all their lines and not paying attention to them being wack performers.

Cam said something telling early on that let me know they were fukked and weren’t built for last night

He said to the Lox “this ain’t SOB’s” he was trying to use it as a slight but it was basically saying we ain’t here to rock a crowd like we’re still some hungry up and coming artists.

KRS said it many moons ago...the true test of any MC will be on a stage and that's why Dips lost imo, style, impact and nostalgia can't sustain you for an entire show when there's some real Mc's next to you giving you a masterclass in performance, delivery and lyrics, they lost to superior MC's that take their craft serious.

Nah. You’re getting it confused. Technician the DJ (the LOX DJ) was fire. nikka was killing the crowd with the classics. Dropping them on the one and going in and out of the songs expertly. Cutting and scratching were A1. Hit Em Up didn’t go over bad at all because he just played a few bars and bounced into a BIG joint. Tech is a beast and is not new to this. One of the best.

The music went left when the Dipset DJ took over. (I have no idea who he was) started playing random out of town joints. That nicca was terrible. He was so bad that Technician had to come back on and try to get the crowd back.

This highlights an underrated factor in this battle. The importance of the DJ. Lox old school approach vs Dipset rhyming over tracks and using and incompetent DJ that couldn’t even scratch properly. Back in the day, the DJ was just as important to rocking the crowd. You can tell the LOX and Technician have those routines down cold. Plus he knew what joints to play for them at the proper time. He was doing a lot of the rebuttaling himself and the LOX jump into action off the muscle memory.

Professionalism at its finest.

no there isn’t

the diplomats had a 3 year run.. 03-06

The Lox have the Bad Boy, Ruff Ryder, and D Block era

Both those sentences are true, and neither have anything to do with Dipset “not being felt in the hood”, which is completely false.
