OMG!! I thought I was the only person who knew of her. “I Swear” is so underrated. There are definitely Prince vibes all over it. I was thinking he was associated with it as well. Lol. I remember when the video first premiered on 106 and Park (when I was like 12 or 13). It wasn’t until a like 2 years ago that I was able to find a copy of her album on the web.
