It always shocked me that Atlanta became the crunk music capital when Atlanta crunk was heavily influenced by Memphis rap.

It isn't surprising, because while influenced by Memphis, Atlanta's brand of Crunk had melodic elements and slowed down elements from Bass music. Memphis was straight up shut the club down music in regard to Crunk. ATL was more of the party vibe even though something like "Bia Bia" could still get a club shut down.

Bizzy Bone should have performed way too strong. Alot of people watching wouldn't know the song but its the perfect blend of melody, aggression, slow/fast flow... and the sudden burst of speed right before he goes into the first hook would've shook the room

Because I don't want these nikkas to exist

It's your ( you fans) fault these nikkas ever recorded a whole album

I need this hate to seep into the fabric of the universe and erase these muhfukkas from the timeline

I'm mad this thread even exists .. I'm mad the poll on this thread has 144 votes in favor of them even though they lost

I imagine you nikkas sitting in your room nodding your head listening to that bullshyt and i wanna hit y'all in the back of the head with a World history text book and incinerate your headphones
:skip:
I hear you

I’ve never heard anybody say this. I’ve never even heard anybody mention Crucial Conflict outside of Hay. Don’t get me wrong Hay is a classic but we all know they were looked at as Bone clones when they dropped and that’s why they didn’t last long

The latter part, is what I was trying to say.

But crucial was definitely poppin. They were the biggest of the double- timers bone beefed with in the 90s.

36 mafia didn't really get big until afterwards, when they moved away from that style - hence the reason why alot of people didn't know the significance of this verzus.

dont try to play me and act like im saying something new.

i remember people schooling you on this exact topic in another thread,

you werent around anyway, shorty stay in ya place.

In a Verzuz setting, I would expect 36 to win, Bone's music isn't really "turn up" like that...outside of a couple joints. Quality wise tho come on, are yall f'n serious?. You comparing that "bawk bawk chickenhead" ass shyt to Bone's catalog? Stop it.
Bone stans, in a nutshell.

Bu-bu-but in a Verzuz setting, I would expect 36 to win

And then launch into some bullshyt about Bone's catalog being superior to "bawk bawk chickenhead", as if this was ever a comparison of their catalogs on wax. The same nxggas who're doing the most in this thread dapped this shyt too.

and bone still had the better performance.

its funny how the narratives change with these battles
with the LOX battle, people claimed the LOX won because of the emceeing and the purity. hell, this argument was even made for fat joe when he went against jarule.
now the narrative being pushed is the exact opposite.

bizzy was jadakiss in this thing(i'd say he topped him) and none of these media personalities made note of it except for fat joe.
and the rest of the group(wish bone inclueded) rapped circles around 36 mafia as well, but because that narrative isnt being pushed by influencers, it isnt being pushed on these forums like that, and instead these bammas are coming out the woodwork trying to run chit.

nikka im 36 I was definitely around, you just compared some one and a half hit wonders to a legendary rap group and was dead serious about it :mjlol: They were hot for about 8 months that's were it stops.

Do or Die>>>Crucial Conflict if you talking double timers.

Bro. I pretty much called this shyt was gonna happen before the battle. Lol. That’s the funny thing. Which is why I was happy this took place in LA so they atleast could’ve seen the love from there because if this was in the south it would’ve been WAY worse.

I don't think this would've been the case. Ya'll underestimate the love Bone gets in The South. It would've been worse if it was held in Memphis though. On the same token, if they would've held it in the Midwest, it would've been the same especially in Cleveland.

You couldn't of possibly been of age when that album dropped. Even before they created a radio version, notorious thugs was an instant (video free) classic, ala Ambitionz az a ridah, ain't no fun, etc etc

False hated them nikkas since '93 - 94 or whatever
In my Bart Simpson rhinestone denim jacket

I was of age enough to have actually rocked a flat top
And cut it down to Caesar before LL dropped Mama said Knock you out .. a tape that I actually bought

They have always been ass and always will be regardless of the decade fukk y'all I'm out
