This how I got it at first glance. Going based on performance on stage/(shyt) crowd reaction (Dipset had some big hits that fell flat against Lox because shyt was sloppy). And again, bonus points for Mafia after Bizzy caught feelings. shyt could have been even more epic and everybody was probably scared of setting him off again.

No sense debating who won because what it comes down to is most 80s babies and older will say Bone won, while 90s babies and after will say 3-6 won. Even though they’re both around the same age, Bone peaked in the 90s and 3-6 didn’t really pop until the 2000s.

The original release was a Project Pat song and the original International Player's Anthem was with 3-6 but Outkast was added late and they made that the single. Where I'm from we heard the Pat version then the 3-6 version then the one they made the video for which Pimp C wasn't even fukkin with at 1st but the label made em do it.

Right. The version with Three 6 was out first and was just called Players Anthem. I remember when it first came out because I had it on my MySpace page

Then a few months later when the album was getting ready to drop is when the version with Outkast came out and that got pushed as a single while the version with 3-6 got relegated to an album cut. If you a for real UGK fan you know both, but a casual fan will only know the Outkast version most likely.

I get the vibe that while he did the show he really didn't want to it but went along with it for the group. I remember Paul saying after Swizz blocked them from doin it on their own and was stringing them along for minute Kray lost interest in doin it. I am wondering who was it Swizz was talking bout tho.

Krayzie and Wish ducked out. They knew what was coming and they don't fukk with Bizzy like that. Flesh stood tall. Lay was tryna keep it peaceful, even though he was shyt talking too in the beginning. Bizzy was being Bizzy. I think the liquor had 'em and they knew it beforehand.
