Bone had a peak commercial run of say 94-97 argubaly and three 6 biggest run was 05-08 maybe? (they definetly had regional hits that crossed big time before that especially in 2000-2001) but the difference in familarity for the general audience is telling. This place definetly knew Bone's records but it was dishearenting seeing people not know stuff that wasnt Thuggish Ruggish Bone or Crossroads.

This shouldn’t have been in LA. Shoulda been in the Midwest or South.

song for song= Bone by a couple rounds...Three 6 went jugular early but Bone came back in the second half

performances= Three 6 by a landslide.. had me wired for every joint except Dark Horse....Bone let me down with the Weed Song and Breakdown performances

overall, this has been my favorite since the switch to concert format

both are in my top 3 so no bias or agendas in this one, just when most of the joints dropped

i wish X and Snoop could've been on a stage..that's probably still my favorite overall

Can’t front I thought Bone was gonna wash 3 6 even tho I prefer 3 6. I was never a fan of Bone and last nite reminded me why. 3 6 just had a different energy that lended itself better to the Versuz format.

You can tell who watched this entire show and who skimmed it on Twitter or set list watching from the side lines. I LOVED both these groups. Growing up on 90s hip hop they both are legends in my book. I kept telling my ppls this wasn’t a proper pairing from getgo. 3 6 got that club stripper drug party music and bone got the deeper message tracks and clearly harder lyrically. But last night was a sweep in the finals by 3 6 mafia. Anyone saying differently either biased or hating. Or both.

Bone fans are fanatical for lack of a better word. They would never admit defeat. I prefer Bone because outside of Project Pat, Three Six got some struggle ass lyrics. (Lets be honest, we all listen for the beats and the vibez), but 3-6 washed Bone last night. Energy was too much.

You're right he's 48. I was in elementary school when these nikkas blew up. I'm 36 so our age gap seems like it would be much bigger than just 12 years.
