I think it’s uncanny that everybody saying Bone took this (myself included) scored it with 12-8. Lol
IMO, the biggest factors for this were:
(A) Bone winning the toss and going last, which effected the matchups of each round. It’s not so much that Bone picked better songs, but they saved their knockouts for Three 6’s jabs.
For example:
- we all knew going in Bone had three automatic wins: knew nothing Mafia had was gonna beat “Crossroads”, “Thuggish Ruggish Bone”, and “Foe Tha Luv Of $”. Those took out Mafia songs that probably would’ve won rounds against some of those other Bone songs. It pained me to vote against “Slob On My Knob”, “Poppin’ My Collar”, and “Chickenhead” - but those other 3 was locks.
- Mafia got hella songs about being high that are better than “Half On A Sack” and woulda beat “Weed Song”
- the common era Juicy J cuts don’t hold up to the classics, but I see why they played that card.
It was there that Bone (bars) crept back on a come up.
- and again, both sides left MONSTER records off
I thought Three 6 was gonna win this, but that’s why we play the game!
