On what planet does Chickenhead match Thuggish Ruggish Bone? :russ:
Bone didn't do that song any justice. The song was cut short and Shatasha didn't get a chance to really let loose on it. This is the problem with y'all nxggas; you're running up in this thread comparing these songs as they exist on wax, and not the performances of them. Of course, Thuggish Ruggish Bone is an infinitely better song than Chickenhead, it just wasn't in that round.

Same applies to E.1999, which is a better song than Crunk Ain't Dead, but the performance of it wasn't.

Computer of all people did. He at least broke through Bone's security. Same dude who did this. :russ:

nikkas is such followers. When the actual Verzuz was going on live, the majority had Bone winning. Now that it’s been a day and media has started talking about it, now people saying 3-6 won :patrice:
This isn't true, at all.

The consensus was Three Six had it in the first half, and then Bone dragged it back in the second, and the posts were less about thinking Bone won, and more reacting to them coming back. You had some dishonest muh'fukkas that were trying to shift the narrative by comparing songs/rounds, on paper, and not as they existed in that format as they were performed.

And besides, none of that shyt means a cotdamn thing when you had folks already making up their minds on who won before it even began.

:manny:

It's like the whole thing with Shatasha, her appearance and the hype around it already gave nxggas the impression that the song won before it even started, when in reality, her mic wasn't right, and she didn't get a chance to do her thing. That was a round that Bone should've taken comprehensively, but their execution was all off. But because nxggas have it in their heads that Thuggish Ruggish Bone is the better song, that therefore means they won that round. This is where the disconnect stems from in this thread, you've just got a whole bunch of people who're trying to compare the songs based on their frame of reference, rather than how they exist in the context of the Verzuz.

I know Bone is a group but they should've LOX/kissed it and let Kray and Bizzy go back to back on all their biggest songs as they mostly have the best verses..... NOBODY in existence wanted to hear Layzie and Wish Bone Thuggish Ruggish Bone verse.... foe tha love of money should've been Lil Eazy E into Bizzy then krayzie... I fukk with flesh but nah not here not now breh

They didn't even let nikkas rip E.1999 the verse selection was ass cheeks.

Look into my eyes-krayzie, Bizzy
Mo murda- whole song
Resurrection-layzie/wish
Weed song-whole song
Bump in the trunk didn't have bizzy but krayzie verse was hard and he didn't get to spit it

Lemme get this straight, my g, how can you claim that Three Six fans are biased, yet not apply the same logic to Bone fans (who're doing the most in this thread), while also quoting someone who told you they didn't watch it, but voted Bone, and you reply with "if you voted bone then bone won".

:dwillhuh:

"Universally known" songs aren't automatic wins, or more to the point, just because they are wins, doesn't mean they are of notably greater worth than wins that the other side has. It seems folks that are trying to hand Bone the victory in here are just comparing the songs, in a vacuum, rather than valuing them in the context of a battle.

I fukks with Buddah Lovas, but it has absolutely no place at the start of a set-list in a Verzuz context. You're supposed to build the crowd/energy when you start a show, and having this as their third song was completely out of place, and felt like some HS barbershop harmony quartet shyt, rather than a rap battle. Someone actually made a great point a couple pages back, in that a lot of Bone's material doesn't translate well to an environment like this. While they may be great songs in their own right, aren't great for Verzuz the same.

exactly, you are seeing bias and making it a one side thing or another.... I love both groups I have no bias
when I say "if you think bone won, then bone won..." that applies to 3-6 too ... its your preference
I would also say obviously "more known songs are automatic wins" that's why they are more known

your third part is biased. You are trying to project that Verzuz is a rap battle and its not. I would agree Buddah Lovas isnt suited for that, but its about which song is better. Building energy or whatever bullshyt also doesnt really matter if you have strong songs. nikkas aint watching Chaka Khan, Stephanie Mills, Earth Wind And Fire, Isleys, E-40, Too-Short, The Lox, Dipset, etc etc for energy. It's about which song is better. You're gonna say Brooklyn Zoo is better than Check Out My Melody based on how hype it is? Thats just terrible logic. That's like saying 3-6 mafia has better songs than Jay-z and Nas combined.

Most songs played last night were classic in one way or another, it all comes down to who you like. Everyone won like I said in the first part. If you like 3-6 they probably won to you, if you like Bone, they probably won to you. Its not like any songs played were an L they were all great songs, and both sides could have kept going 10 more rounds. If we keep it a buck, I think both sides picked the wrong songs and the wrong matchups. But to me it didnt matter because they both played what I wanted to hear

whether you agree or care we all have to laugh at "thuggish ruggish" cats singing barbershop quartet shyt and fighting immediately afterwards... that is a classic hiphop moment just in general :russ: nikkas singing about being calm and smoking weed :blessed: and then fighting... and strip club memphis cats rushing the tape, while dirty south beats drop:bryan: thats super classic shyt... krayzie bone leaving when he saw it unfold ... thats super classic shyt :banderas: people complained and cried, but without Bizzy, this show doesnt even hit the same.

Wish Bone was adlibbing "not you" when they was singing who run it until they cut his mic.... and then these nikkas disappear when Bizzy get into it with Juice... makes you wonder...:jbhmm:

layzie and Flesh the only ones that was still out there. Krayzie and wish dipped...
Krayzie right off the bat was like "I don't give a fukk about no oscar award" before they preformed. Then he did his verse on Look into my eyes, which is a shot at 3-6. :pachaha:

I did the poll on the official Verzuz channel on YouTube, and Bone had almost 60% of the vote at the time, and this was after the altercation. The poll on this site, Bone was winning when I submitted my vote after it ended. I wake up and all of a sudden, the comments have shifted to mostly 3-6 and they took the lead.

And that's the thing.

The best thing about E.1999 is the intro: the ethereal feeling before that shyt kicks in and Layzie goes off. That's one of the most powerful sounds you'll ever feel. Every time I hear that shyt, I feel like I could take over the world. But the song just started out of nowhere at the start of Krayzie's verse, and it didn't even seem like Bone were ready. That deaded the performance right there. It just wasn't the same. And after watching that round back, I was too generous to Bone in saying that I've give a slight edge to Three Six, when shyt wasn't even close.

The Three Six/Duke Deuce collab hit that shyt outta the park.
