U had Bizzy out there spitting the most complicated verses of the night verbatim with not hiccups and nikkas tryna shyt on they performance? Bone damn near took the whole second half of the battle but nikkas saying they got washed? Tasha came out sounding exactly like the fukkin record. Yet had Breakdown win(rightfully so) against Dark Horse. But the Breakdown performance was literally Bone’s worst performance of the night.You should tell this to some of the guys arguing side by side with you, if that's how you feel.
And yes, it's primarily about the music. This whole verzus thing started off as beat battles for Pete's sake. Then it turned into writers and artists battling from remote locations.
And even when it went live, nobody was rating performances until the lox/dipset thing, and most of that was based off of narratives.

Besides, I preferred bone's performance anyway. They won rounds beating 36 mafia at their own game with the south chit, then hit you with a variety of other chit. They also had the better guests and best of all, they hit you with the all-timer classic rap chit, which 36 mafia doesn't even have in their arsenal.
Hell, 36 mafia wasn't even present for the grand finale. Them dudes ran off the stage like "freestyle?? Let's get out of here".
