Now you see why P lost all his respect in the music game and the artists don’t really fool with him. They missed out on so much streaming and catalogue money because the rights are all tied up in court.

Baby and Slim are really who people think P is. And I was the biggest P fan ever until I learned the business and saw how everything player out post 1998.

Do you know how much money he could’ve made just doing anniversary editions of all those NL albums?!
Being from Brooklyn I had no idea how big NL was until

I was in the army Before my first duty station I was at Wichita Texas Air Force Base for my training

Went to a club and when that make em say ughh hit that place went crazy the only other songs that hit like them was tear the club up

Most of the military is made up of people from the south

That’s when I got into NL and it was so much I was wondering are they coming out every dame week with a new album

Tha M

NAH THATS WHEN THEY
WERE PLAYING THE MUSIC FROM HOME
NOT PERFORMING THE SONGS
ON STAGE

TWO DIFFERENT THINGS

When Verzuz started during the Pandemic, there were no real copyright rules being enforced.

After all the DJs like DNice started, labels and artists started wanting their cut like radio stations and music video channels.

If you have any music playing on something you post, it’s gonna either be credited thru the software or it will be blocked. You need a sync license otherwise.

Same thing with things like Verzuz. Somebody had to cover the song licenses or you’ll get lawsuits like what Mercedes is alluding to.

Add in the fact it’s a guaranteed streaming increase for the songs, all t’s have to be crossed and all i’s need to be dotted, especially since most of these songs on Verzuz were released with contracts that don’t specifically address streaming as we know it.

Project Pat needs someone like Yo Gotti

I wanna see Boosie vs Plies in the future
Plies gets boosie outta there easily imo. shyt a good clip of them Khalid records would get boosie outta there.
I dont think Pat Gotti is a good one either. two different rap gens, feels odd.
Check this out :ohhh: :ohhh: :ohhh:

Makes sense. I think Gangsta said Turk was the reason the Cash Money tour happened, because Wayne fought for Turk. Turk was at odds with everyone else :dead:

Ps pride and ego has always been his downfall. Instead of paying BTTP their worth( nikkas was burned out by mid 99) He tried to go cheap by producing himself and getting cheap producers. Nikka went as far as to justify it saying "Their sound got dated"

TO GET A PERFORMANCE RIGHTS LICENSE.

I CAN GUARANTEE THE VENUE
ALREADY HAD ONE.

LIKE I SAID YOURE TALKING
ABOUT WHEN THE ACTUAL SONGS
WERE BEING PLAYED FROM
INSTEAD OF LIVE PERFORMANCES

ATL paid.. Cali blazed
Played out pretty much like I predicted it. Juvi was my MVP of the night but I was more entertained by NL’s set…overall I was kinda disappointed for all the reasons I saw coming (the city and the crowd, it being rushed, missing artists, only 10 records, etc) but thought it was dope nevertheless

The secondary content from this is gonna be endless :mjlol:

Turk’s gonna LITERALLY have dozens of hours of social media lives bout this by this time next week…some of yall think I’m joking

Baby and Slim’s brother Gangsta just cleared his schedule

All these local New Orleans and Down South podcasts
B High def doing numbers next week. I can hear Turk right now and when he done u know he gotta promote that Joseph album
