NOPE

IF HE CAN SHOW UP
FOR JUICY J HE CAN SHOW UP
FOR CMR

IF SNOOP CAN SHOW UP
WAYNE CAN SHOW UP

Ok, let’s say Wayne shows up and does one verse of A Millie (like they BARELY had time for last night)
and then disappears from the stage like Snoop did…for free, for the “family”…that’s still janky as fukk and I still come away thinking this was some last minute thrown together shyt that cheated me from what could have been epic

We had a Cash Money vs No Limit Verzuz where Ha wasn’t even performed cause of time restraints …and cut scenes to 19 year old cacs yawning in the crowd while Break em off Something was played because they were really there to see Ken Carson…

I will say this…. knowing a little of how bookings and event type shyt goes.

Very few people can just “last minute“ throw some shyt together.

There’s a lot of moving Parts, from the time they planned this to the time they let the public know….. there probably was a significant month of time.

They don’t need Superbowl level amount of time to put this together but it ain’t like they started all this last week

The “Dope Shows” promotion company that put together the Cash Money 30th Anniversary Tour (that Wayne was never on and that Turk is sueing because he was kicked off of) was promoting this heavily online…my best guess was this was booked almost as an extended tour date of that tour that they agreed to very recently or they straight up sold a date to Complex…it how I knew who exactly was showing up for Cash Money from jump…it defies logic for Complex to have had this planned long term but only announce it two weeks out, they’d be purposely leaving money on the table

I noticed Mia X doesn't have Mystikal on her t-shirt on the back. She has Magic, Soulja Slim, Big Ed on the front RIP to them and C-Murder on the back, free C-Murder but no Mystikal. I guess she ain't with rapist shyt.

LOOKING AT HER IG...
SHES ACTUALLY POSTED HIM
A COUPLE OF TIMES THIS MONTH.

CMR is musically still relevant with the younger generation. Literally all the songs they did last night still get play at HBCU undergrad parties and bands.

NL not so much at all outside of Choppa Style & Down 4 My N’s.

Just cause you say it a bunch, doesn’t mean it’s actually true. Any Black person probably 33 and up knows exactly how both labels were coming up, and how they are looked at right now. Cash Money is still relevant to the younger generation because they know latter career Wayne, along with Drake and Nicki. The younger generation doesn’t know anything about Cash Money pre-Carter 3 outside of Bling Bling, #1 Stunna, and Back That Azz Up. They don’t REALLY know Cash Money, Cash Money to them is Young Money. NL has such a bad rep cause they reached a peak exhausting themselves, and started doing gross trend hopping as Cash Money was getting on fire. NL simply wasn’t cool anymore. But to say their previous output is “nothing much” and that they weren’t a legendary label are just straight up uninformed lies.

You clearly didn’t comprehend what I said. I never said their output was “nothing much.”

What I said was old CMR songs are more relevant and played with the younger audience than 90’s No Limit, which is true from HBCU undergrad parties to bands to HS events.

It’s not a diss, it’s just a fact that you can easily ask any Black DJ who does 00’s and 10’s events or is around them.

WHAT THIS VERZUZ EXPOSED
IS CASH MONEY MADE PRETTY MUSIC
WHILE NO LIMIT MADE THAT HARD shyt.

IN REAL TIME IT SEEMED
LIKE CASH MONEY MADE HARD shyt
BUT THEY WERE A MORE CLEANED UP
VERSION OF NO LIMIT

EVERYTIME CM
DROPPED SOME OF THEIR HARDEST JOINTS
NO LIMIT CAME BACK WITH SOMETHING
WAY HARDER

WHEN YOU SEE THE BIG BRO
SIDE BY SIDE WITH THE LIL BRO
THE DIFFERENCE IS APPARENT

Proved it how? That wasn’t even a Southern crowd.

I’m at these parties across the South. CMR are still relevant via TikTok, social media, Youngboy, marching bands and club play. Where you think “Hot Girl Summer” came from😂.

They’re still sampling CMR unlike NL. And I say this as a 80’s Baby that deals with the 00 and 10 Babies.

You gotta be 30 & up to really be up on prime NL.
Never said CMR wasn’t relevant,

I’m in the north and NL gets played just as much as CMR up here.

Nah let’s not go too far with this :russ: I respect what No Limit did but they ain’t touching ONP. They have too much range for them boys

Organized Noize made better records, but in a format like Verzuz, BBTP would give most production crews problems for the same reasons CMR struggled. They have more hype joints.

Can't believe some of y'all are in this thread trying to push a narrative that Lil Wayne is a megastar artist that's big to preform on versus.

Y'all nyggaz acting like Wayne is Paul McCartney or Elton John status.
