Cash money could've won the public c opinion/internet casual vote if Wayne came out.

So they had to go catalog-4-catalog and no limit bullied them buls, proving what we've been saying all along about no limit having the better catalog.

I also didn't trust no limit to play the right records at the tight time but it ended up being the other way around.

Lil Wayne definitely saved Cash Money when he went lyrical Super Saiyan

That's a false narrative.

The big tymers were carrying cash money for years after the hot boys broke up. Wayne's albums kept disappointing and/or flopping until birdman paired his son with Gillie.

If it wasn't for birdman nepotism, lil wayne would be mentioned in the same early 2000s bubble as say a lil Zane or Drama.

Lil Wayne needs to have a Jadakiss "Who Shot Ya" moment with one of his infamous verses on mixtapes
:wow:

Wayne is not that type of rapper at all.

And no limit had guys kn the stage who woukdve chewed Wayne up if he tried that.

^^^ I wonder would've happened if KLC dropped this at Verzuz. Seeing Boz's response in the studio is classic.

This would've started a riot just off the Toni Braxton reference from P. Song was always hard. This would've been too crazy if this was P's response to Birdman's "I started stuntin'" rant.

I forgot all about the toni braxton line.

Baby ended up bringing his other girl, Tamar anyway. 😆

Mia X was the sleeper MVP.

She looked and sounded way better than i expected.
She was the key. They had to have her there especially since they couldn’t have C Murder or Mystikal. Good thing they could patch things up so she could be there, it helped both P and herself. I even saw Roxanne Shante give Mia love, that made me smile cause she deserved that shyt.

I’m surprised they didn’t have Mac do his verse on “Wobble Wobble” being that he went first and that was such a hit that he missed the run for since he was locked up.

Wayne started ascending again after the Hot Boys breakup when he started dropping Sqad Up mixtapes. I don't recall if Gillie was around or not but I still won't credit Gillie for Wayne's rise tho

Gillie came around 01...that's right before Wayne blew in late 03

Gillie was "influencing" Wayne heavy & def ghostwriting for Baby

Gillie wrote Baby's verse on What Happened To That Boy 1000%

Philly nikkas was the first area to fukk with Wayne heavy outside of the South bc of the Gillie influence...I remember thinking in real time Wayne flowing like he's from Philly
