get when we talk about how No Limit was on top at a certain point. Some people can't even fathom that because it was like right before hiphop took that major leap into more mainstream shyt. Like people think it's a joke if you told them about bumping "Bout It Bout It" while riding around.
Cash Money was a lot less gritty and it was the type of music you heard at the bar at the PWI i went to in a small town in Missouri. To certain people "nobody listened to No Limit".
But me personally No Limit will always be big brother to Cash Money. Cash Money will probably have their go to songs like "Back That Ass Up" but if they were to keep going into both labels catalog, No Limit would crush this with how deep their catalog is. No Limit might not even get to "I Miss My Homies" or "Break Em Off Something" or "Bourban and Lacs". Or even good songs from the lesser known No Limit artists like Ghetto Commission.
