I get so tired of this contrarian "As a (seemingly contrarian position), I agree with (something you'd expect me to disagree with)" as if it proves something.
Some vets agree with him. Some don't. Who cares?
He's entitled to his action and speech. People are entitled to their opinions whether they agree or disagree.
What's important is will any meaningful change come from this national conversation?
