You know NOTHING about business or money or how wrestling works.
Most wrestlers on the TNA roster make nothing, and I bet you that crowd paid for everyone they had that night + more. That's a decent sized arena.
The $600,000 is an overblown number and TNA gets 12 million a year from Spike. It cost $600,000 to produce that show. Hulk Hogan made $35,000. Tell me how much the gate could have possibly been. Tell me more about the homie discount for putting 1,000 people in a 13,000 seat arena. TNA belongs in a bingo hall.

Ok who the fukk said 20 Million lol, you have to have the lowest reading comprehension out of anyone on here save that guy with the blanket"Spike isn't paying them close to $20 million.
They paid UFC $35 million and were broadcasting 10-20 hours of programming per week. They were doing two hours of TNA, which, no matter what the ratings, were not attractive to sponsors.
I've never gotten a real number from TNA but have talked to people who know the number and it was made clear it was miniscule compared to what UFC was getting."
-Dave Meltzer
And that's RAW who are no doubt in an arena between 2x-4x the size TNA is, with pyro, catering, random weekly ass props like Milk Trucks, Limos, Beer Trucks, Cadillac Escalades, Disco Balls, a Titantron three times the size of TNAs and about 250 more workers backstage TNA has. Oh and about double the Wrestling Roster WWE has.I vividly remember in Raw magazine in 1996, Vince McMahon stating that Raw ran live once a month at the time due to the six figure costs of going live. While Nitro went live weekly. It's plenty plausible it would cost $600k today for the entire setup. WWE wasn't in the position TNA is in today but it wasnt good. You think Dave Meltzer would make up Janice Carter's role in TNA? Why would the dirt sheets want TNA to fail? Think this through lol

"not close to 20 million" and "minuscule" compared to UFC Spike deal doesn't mean 12 million. Now thats basic common sense. Its probably 5-7 million. Why would they pay 12 million to TNA when there was no bidding war? Lol TNA has equal to worse ratings than COPS and Law and Order reruns. Their value to Spike at this point is a tie in to Bellator. That's it. Raw and Impact contracts are up together in fall 2014, I see Spike as making a run after getting Raw back to boost Bellator, if that happens TNA is automatically out of business. Buying TNA next yr? If Bellator is struggling, I doubt Spike doubles down and do the same with wrestling and assume all of the risk.

Several of Spike TV’s top executives were in attendance at the TNA Impact Wrestling tapings last week. Spike is pleased with the ratings that TNA have been generating lately, as they feel the company’s draw helps Spike’s overall primetime average and it allows them to sell their primetime advertising stock at a much higher rate.
There has been no talk of Spike being unhappy with TNA’s performance in their ratings.
Breh, wut the hell are u talking about?
Ultimate Fighter draws the same numbers as Impact and Bellator gets smoked by TNA. They have a lot of value to Spike.

Edit:
Ultimate Fighter isn't an equivalent show to Impact, UFC Fight Night is. And TNA does have a lot of value RIGHT NOW to Spike.......to sell Bellator's shows. That's why Rampage and Tito are main characters. It's in TNA best interests the Bellator ppv sells.

That's EXACTLY why I said they make so much from SpikeTV and to do the math?@kentuckyprophet: @davemeltzerWON For example, if TNA spends 600k a taping but their live gate draws a third of that. Or am I misunderstanding?
@davemeltzerWON: @kentuckyprophet Nobody expects to draw live what taping cost. WWE spends more than $1 million per taping, live gate $400K
