I remember watching Charlemagne's podcast on an episode that featured DJ Akademiks. CTG was telling him he had nothing to gain by doing this show and that his platform was already more relevant than Complex. Looking back on it...he was right. He's constantly getting sonned and disrespected on this show...and he honestly don't need this shyt.

I know Complex presented in the form of "dude gives you some legitimacy while you present wahtever fukkery you usually do on your twitter" but all it does it end up with him getting assed out by both Budden and the guests, while getting cucked by the female hosts.

I went to the NY news article online that covered his death

I;m personally sick of having to see black faces on the news as murder victims, perpertrators in crimes, defendents, and as just in the past tense. He did do all that, but most news outlets that I've seen cover Chicago go about reporting on Chicago in a more dehumanizing way than Akademiks imo

I'm not well versed on all of Ak's commentary regarding the dysfunctional, black underclass culture that resides in Chicago. However, what I have seen posted in this thread so far seems to display Ak chastising the backwardness behavior of a self-destructive culture, which is leaving me confused because I don't see anything 'wrong' with that, per say.
